FABER
Beta Privacy Notice
Version 2026-10-fab-2
We treat the plans, models and technical documents you entrust to Fab as sensitive information. This notice explains how Faber handles your personal data and project content when you use the service.
Data and purposes
We process your account and sign-in details, uploaded files, instructions, annotations, generated results and feedback. We also process service usage, credit balances, payment references and records of your acceptance of our terms and this notice.
We use these data to provide the service, manage your account and payments, respond to support requests, diagnose errors and protect the service against misuse. Processing needed to provide the service is based on our contract with you; security and diagnostics on our legitimate interest in operating a reliable service; and statutory record-keeping on our legal obligations.
Confidentiality and AI processing
We do not use your files, instructions or results to train models, ours or anyone else's, and we do not authorize our AI providers to do so. We do not sell your project content or share it for advertising or prospecting.
To carry out the requested work, Fab transmits the necessary instructions and project content to AI providers through their APIs. These include Microsoft Azure AI, which hosts OpenAI models, and Google. Feedback submitted for a credit bonus is also processed through OpenRouter and its model provider to assess eligibility. Payments are processed by Stripe; Faber does not receive your full card details.
Where an installation offers a connection to your personal ChatGPT plan, choosing it sends the task content to OpenAI under your account's terms and data controls. This option is not available on the current public hosted service.
Hosting and access
Hosted projects are stored on Microsoft Azure in France Central. AI processing may take place outside the European Union. Providers may retain data for security and abuse monitoring under the terms applicable to their services.
Project content and service records are accessible to authorized Faber personnel for service operation, support and diagnostics, and to the providers needed to deliver the service. Processing and contractual information can be requested at the contact address below.
Retention and deletion
Hosted projects are purged 90 days after they were last opened. You can download your files and results while a project is available, and delete the project at any time. Sign-in sessions last up to 90 days; signing out removes the session token from your device. Account records are retained while you use the service, with longer retention where required by law or to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
To support users and diagnose errors, Faber keeps records of processing in its own Azure storage. On the hosted service these include task content, such as files or extracts, instructions, model responses and results, rather than anonymous usage statistics. In other installations, recording depends on the diagnostic configuration. These records are separate from projects: deleting a project or its 90-day purge does not automatically delete them. You may request their deletion by contacting us, subject to legal obligations and the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.
Your rights and contact
Faber AI, a French société par actions simplifiée (SAS), registered with the Paris Trade and Companies Register under number 103 155 172 and based at 231 rue Saint-Honoré, 75001 Paris, France, is responsible for this processing.
